He came to the UCSB Physics Department in 1972 as an Assistant Professor, became an Associate Professor in 1976, and attained full professorship in 1980. He won the distinguished Biological Physics Prize in 2000 from the American Physical Society. Reveles, Hansma Lab Manager and Study Coordinator. for the Chronic Pain Science Group. I bring with me extensive experience in neuro and brain therapies, which includes 17 plus years working for Medtronic MDT, formerly PS Medical and now Medtronic PLC, Restorative Brain Therapies. During my time working in Bio-tech, I earned a medical device design patent for a catheter in an LP shunt kit as a co-inventor. The LP Strata shunt is used to treat and manage hydrocephalus a neurological condition. While at Medtronic, I also served <span style=\"color:#0071a1\" class=\"has-inline-color\">as <\/span>a  senior lab lead and R&amp;D Technologist, specializing in experimental test setups and test proctoring, along with being part of a core R&amp;D team supporting the Strata valve product portfolio and manufacturing line. I&#8217;m now proud to be part of the neuroscience team within the physics department at UC Santa Barbara.
