He came to the UCSB Physics Department in 1972 as an Assistant Professor, became an Associate Professor in 1976, and attained full professorship in 1980. He won the distinguished Biological Physics Prize in 2000 from the American Physical Society. Reveles, Hansma Lab Manager and Study Coordinator. for the Chronic Pain Science &amp; Recovery Group.  I bring with me extensive experience in neurotherapy, which includes over 17 years working for Medtronic, PS Medical in Goleta (now Medtronic PLC, Restorative Brain Therapies in Irvine). I&#8217;ve earned  medical device catheter shunt kit design patent as a co-inventor. The LP shunt is used in treat hydrocephalus. I also served <span style=\"color:#0071a1\" class=\"has-inline-color\">as <\/span>a lab lead and senior R&amp;D Technologist, specializing in experimental test set-up, proctor testing, as well as being a core R&amp;D team member for the MDT Strata valve product portfolio and manufacturing line. I&#8217;m now thrilled to be part of the neuroscience team in the physics department at UCSB.
